Wow!

Well, I thought I have posted since my last post but apparently not. So, I'll just start with the most recent things. Maybe if I ever find more time I will do this more regularly. Sure......
Well, we (or should I say I) spent over a month and a half going through Rebecca's poop in search of a nickel she swallowed two days before she turned five. It finally came out and we were all very excited!! I am so happy to be done with that phase. I hope she never does that again! She was so stressed out and I was not having any fun either.
She also had her first "stitches" episode. She was at the pool with Jim and the rest of the kids and somehow hit her chin on the pool and cut it opened. The doctor said it definitely needed either stitches or gluing. So, they glued it. The doctor had a bit of difficulty getting it squished back together. So, no swimming for a week for her. Of course it was the week the girls were away at youth camp so no swimming for Zachary either. The glue fell off and she is healing nicely.
Caroline and Elizabeth will be getting their license on August 8th. Yikes! They are not completely ready to drive on their own so we will still be monitoring their driving for a while longer.
Rebecca and Zachary are both still in swimming lessons. They are both doing great! Zachary has a few stubborn issues when he gets a new teacher but he loves to swim so that helps.
Rebecca is also still in dance and considering whether to join piano again or not in the fall.
Rebecca also has been going to therapy. She LOVES Ms. Peggy. Peggy sent her to a psychiatrist as well to be tested for ADD. She tested negative for that. But she was very high in impulsivity. Her frustration levels and perfectionism were getting very difficult to handle. Anyway, long story short she is now taking Risperdal and her frustrations and angry outbursts have dramatically reduced to almost never. She is still five and so she can still not listen. But she is so much better. A much more pleasant child.
I have so much more to update on but it will have to wait for now. The kids want to go swimming and we are slowly losing enough time to do that.
