What a day!

Well, sometime in the night Rebecca crawled into my bed without my knowledge. When Idid realize she was there I sent her back upstairs. AT this time I realized my arm felt like it was falling asleep. I figured I had been laying on it wrong. Of course I also realized I was not laying on that side. Oh well. So anyway, Rebecca came back down a few minutes or so later and I let her sleep in the "Clifford" bed. Atthis time I realized I still was having quite a tingly sensation in my arm. So, I sat up and then stood up even to try to get it to go away. This was all around 3:00 am. It just would not go away. So finally about 4:00 I got out of bed and came over to the computer. I decided to start looking up causes of this. Of course I knew heart attack was one but really did not feel like that could be it. But, it concerned me enough I really could not sleep. It was still tingling by 10:00 am. So, I called a doctor for an appointment and they said I needed to go to the emergency room because it could be a stroke or a heart attack.
So, I really did not think i had a problem but Jim decided he was coming home and taking me to the emergency room. My wonderful friend Laurabeth was nice enough to take care of Zachary and Rebecca for me (she already has three young kids of her own). Caroline had left this morning for journalism camp and Elizabeth was babysitting Emily.
So, off we went to the ER. They of course took me right away and did an EKG. That turned out normal. So they did a CT Scan and that turned out fine. That was fun. They had this picture on the ceiling that was actually the covers to the lights. And they electronically move you in and out of this machine that is whizzing around your head. They also did a bunch of blood work. That hurt. The guy had some trouble getting the blodd from me and had to get some syringes to take blood from me to fill all the viles.
Everything turned out normal. They said it could be a pinched nerve or who knows what . I have to follow up with a physician at some point and if it continues I may have to go to a neurologist.
So, here I sit at home now. I have a slight headache. And now I am starting to get a few chest pains. But that is normal for me. So, who knows. I guess I will ride it out for now and see how things go.
It was quite a day.
